Poor Elsie! Really gone this time. :(

My little Spyder, she has a new home. I raised her well, and now it's time for someone else to enjoy this amazing car. The new owner just drove off and I did the double-look-back...

Stanford Med student, so I know Elsie's going to be in good hands. Sent her off with a bunch of cleaning products too. Gotta keep her looking good!

I should go clean the WRX...

Where are the deals?

Ugh! I can't seem to find a decent used car.

I guess it doesn't help that my budget is $2000 to $20,000. Maybe I should narrow it down a bit.

Looking at everything from a Civic hatchback to a 540it (6spd?!). The Audi A6 looks nice, but my brother has a VAG car and he's always complaining about the quality (or lack thereof).

Why can't I be rich? I'd get an Evo 9 MR, a Porsche Cayman, and an E55 wagon to haul stuff (as well, as haul ass). That would be enough to fill out my 5 car garage.

G35 and track roadster (need to find another Spyder) would take up the last two spots.

Poor Elsie! My baby is gone...

Well, not physically gone, but she is soon to go to a new home.

Today I sold my Spyder.

(weep, sob, cry, cry, wipe)

New owner won't pick her up for a few weeks, but I have to start getting used to the idea of not having the amazing little Spyder anymore.

At least until I get another one!

Yeah, it's 2006!

I wonder how many weeks it's going to take me to adjust. You know, stop writing 2005 on checks and stuff. Not that anyone writes checks anymore. That's SO 1999!

Not much going on. Actually had a few days off from work. What a relief, but also I'm at a lost as to what to do. Spent about 5 hours on the ole PS2. Mostly GT4 (best game evar!) but also tried a few demo discs. Played MotoGP on Xbox. Very cool, but hard to get used to. I think I still prefer cars.

Maybe moto-engined cars, but four wheels nonetheless.

New favorite car (after seeing it in GT4) is the Suzuki GSX-R/4!

I wonder if I'll ever be able to build something like that. This dude up North is building his own car. He has just a bit more money than I do... Dman. Just checked the site as I like to do periodically. He's got an M5. Not the 400hp one I hope to own, but the new V-10 MONSTER.

Even lower

Okay, so now GM is at a 23yr low after the markets digested the news from yesterday.

$19.05. What a bargain!

Bye Bye GM! Buy Buy GM!

Man, this stock is a stinker. Like Buick LaCrosse bad. Like Chevy Impala ugly.

Kerkorian sells 12 million GM shares

Stock took a beating today on double the usual volume. Down $1.20 to $19.85. I believe that is an 18 year low.

Might be a good time to pick up some shares? Kind of like a Red Tag sale...

Wow-wee Audi.

R10

Nice Diesel!

Saw the new M5 on the streets for the first time. Nice. Wouldn't mind driving one of those every day. White with no plates, but fresh aftermarket wheels. I think they were Breytons, but not sure.

Stupid Stocks!

Can you believe SUNW is at $4.42? POS stock. What the hell is that company doing?

And Ameritrade, now at $24.47. Dman. I wanted to pick up a few lots at under $10. Dman.

Interesting discussion on the Random Walk theory going on amongst some friends via e-mail. I would link to the site, where we played the game, but I'm lazy.

And my lunch hour's up!

Long time no write 2.

Dman! It's been over 10 months with no updates? Yeah, I suck.

Work is kicking my arse. It's supposed to be getting better soon. It Better! Soon!

10:30pm and just finishing up. Broken ads suck.

Good night!

Long time no write

Darn. Thought I'd write on (in?) this thing more. Too busy with other stuff. Well one of the stupid Hot 97 morning show "talent" got fired today. Along with the producer who wrote the ridiculously offensive Tsunami Song. Just waiting for Ms. Jones to get fired. And how come the higher ups in the boardroom never get touched? They must be laughing all the way to the bank. All this free publicity for the station and it didn't cost them a penny. Okay, maybe one million, but that's nothing in the grand scheme of things.

Was going to buy a hardtop for my Spyder today. Someone else got to it first. Oh well, I could do a LOT of things with $2000. And they're only $2400 new, so no big deal. Literally. I only buy things at bargain basement prices. Like stocks.

But I can't talk about that now...

Hello World!

Well, whaddya know, I've got my own blog. Aren't I cool? And more than a little late to the party. Thank goodness for Blogger. I wouldn' t know how to set this thing up myself.

Lots of stuff going on lately that makes me mad. Have you seen www.angryasianman.com ? He's pretty dedicated and writes updates daily. I don't know if I'll have that much time. I'll just stick to the few things I hear about that piss me off.

My wife says I'm an angry person. I don't think so. I'm just very easily ticked off. Like this whole Hot 97 "Tsunami Song" incident. I told her about it and she says, "That's just wrong." and that's it. I'm steaming about it! I can't believe these idiots have their own radio show! I can't believe the executives are sitting in their offices thinking that a contrite apology and one week's docked pay is enough. And "indefinitely suspended"? WTF? Why aren't these people fired already?!

Don't get me started on the Dis-Honorable Mayor Ron "Gonzo" Gonzales. If you looked up "scumbag politician", you'd probably see his face in Webster's. I had my two minutes in front of the City Council the other night and they sat there, stone faced while 60 people expressed their frustration over the Coyote Valley Specific Plan. What is it? Check out the website:

http://www.sanjoseca.gov/coyotevalley/

Basically, they want to build this huge city in the middle of Coyote Valley. Half of the area doesn't even belong to San Jose. WTF? That's like you making plans to put in an olympic sized pool. In your neighbor's backyard! It's Gonzo's pet project, so he can leave with a shiny star on his record, instead of the black eye that is the affair he had with a staffer half his age. Even though he called it a "serious mistake" at the time, I believe they are now married. My wife went to school with her. And Gonzo is older than my Father in law. Shameless.

And now he wants to appropriate lands from farmers and homeowners, paying them a handsome $10,000 an acre. WTF? Do you know how much land goes for in Silicon Valley?

Don't even get me started about housing prices. It's freaking crazy out here.

Okay, enough for today. I'm sure there will more things to rant about tomorrow.
